QUESTIONS

I just installed a new EP and all of my Sims' compatibilities have changed! ARGH! What happened?!

Okay, I hate to break it to you. I have bad news. The bad news is that when you install new EPs over your game, this can sometimes change your Sims' compatibilities. For example, when I had Deluxe, Bella was a Difficult Sim who didn't get along with anyone and Sylvia Marie got along famously with Frankie. Then I got Hot Date, and this all changed: Bella became amiable, Morty aggravating, and Sylvia Marie suddenly had nothing in common with her husband. It all has to do with "interests." It seems as if new EPs shift the interests around a little, so that some of the Sims that used to be compatible aren't anymore. Hot Date goes one better; it actually completely reduces your Sims' interests to a bare minimum!

There is good news, though-- if you have Hot Date, this can be remedied by sending your afflicted Sims Downtown. When they return home after their first trip, interests are restored, although they still might not be the same as what they were before you installed Hot Date. (If they are still somewhat incompatible, you can always send them back Downtown to a magazine rack to gain some new interests.)
