How come sometimes when all of my family members make the carpool, it will
drive off and they'll suddenly all be back at the house again as if they
missed it?
This is a weird quirk that seems to happen in the game whenever you have
a house full of Sims. When the last Sim tries to rush for the carpool and
misses it, sometimes the rest of the house members will magically reappear
at the portal (mailbox/ trashcan), even though they all made the carpool
on time. As a result, they will all miss a day of work. I have no idea
why this happens-- if Maxis planned it or what-have-you-- but it's one
of those things you have no control over. If it happens, you can quit without
saving to start the day over or simply have the sims do chores to pass
the time. Heck-- you may even want to throw a party!
