OMG! I keep getting burglarized! Worse yet, those stinking cops can never
catch them in time when my Sim calls them! What do I do?
Easy-- get a burglar alarm (located under Electronics). Burglar alarms
are good for two reasons: first, the burglar will always get caught (the
cops will come immediately and catch him in the act). But secondly, you'll
get an insurance payment on your stolen item, plus some reward money for
catching the dastardly burglar. Just a warning, though-- you need an alarm
for each room of the house where you have something of value. Otherwise,
if your burglar steals a TV in the living room, but you have an alarm in,
say, the den or something, he'll get away with it!
